Vessels

My looking into the world of vessels appears like that is less aware than my searching of form. A practical surface must be built-in, fairly an overseas idea to me, which say the variety of forms. This is compensated for by an explosion into texture space, where beautification becomes a center in addition to the form.

In case of vessels, the potter's wheel becomes the main style of making. To be honest, this is the most pleasure giving thing for me. The potter’s wheel generate a nearness into the form that is much trickier to engage in when hand building, its very slow. The wheel compels me to give attention much more on clay. Hand-Eye synchronization, when created can become Pot-Eye synchronization, where the impulses from the mind sidestep the hands completely and the clay just goes where you want it to go.

All vessels have the cellular texture and it is quickly becoming my standard design. I have been drawing, painting and making differing description of this texture since when I started making vessels. This pattern very intensely fixed in my mind and I am using it quite regularly. All this is accomplished by coloring a vessel with a full coating of painted slip, and then, old pen is used, the slip is removed and finally the pattern is formed.
